Snow Removal in Pleasant View, TN

Snow Removal · Pleasant View, TN

Parking lots and private drives pushed clear of snow

Phillips Land Services offers snow removal for parking lots and private drives around Pleasant View. When Middle Tennessee gets a snow, we push lots and drives clear with our compact track loader. The work is for businesses and churches with lots to open, and for homes on private drives. The rest of the year, the same machine does land clearing around Pleasant View and forestry mulching.

Snow comes only a few times a winter here, and it rarely stays long. Those few days still matter. A lot under snow keeps cars out, and a drive under snow can keep you home. Call or text (931) 265-1151 before winter, and we look at the job and put the quote in writing.

Parking Lot Snow Removal for Businesses and Churches

Our commercial snow removal covers parking lots for businesses and churches. We push the snow off the drive lanes and the parking spaces with the track loader. The entrance gets cleared too, so cars can get in from the road.

Public crews stick to public roads. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) clears interstates and busy state routes first. Cities and counties clear their own roads. A business lot or a church lot is up to its owner.

How Much Snow Does Middle Tennessee Get?

NOAA's 1991 to 2020 climate normals put the Nashville airport at about 4.7 inches of snow a year. The Springfield Experiment Station, northeast of Pleasant View, averages about 5.8 inches. Nearly all of it falls from December through March, and January and February bring the most.

Snow rarely stays long. At the airport, an inch or more of new snow falls on 1 or 2 days a year. Snow an inch deep or more covers the ground on about 3 days a year. January's normal high there is about 49 degrees.

Some winters bring a big storm anyway. In late January 2026, a winter storm hit Tennessee with snow and ice. Days later, TDOT was still clearing state roads across its 26-county Middle Tennessee region. Limbs and small trees brought down by a storm fall under our storm damage cleanup work.

Snow Plowing for Private Drives Around Pleasant View

A private drive is up to its owner too. Around Pleasant View and the towns nearby, we push snow off private drives with the track loader. We clear from the house out to the road. Flag culvert ends and big rocks along the drive in the fall, so they are easy to find under snow.

Gravel drives take some care in winter. The Federal Highway Administration's gravel roads guide names winter plowing as one way gravel leaves the road surface. It also says snowmelt softens a gravel surface with no crown, and ruts can follow.

We build and refresh gravel drives too. If spring finds your drive rutted or bare in spots, that is gravel driveway repair work. We regrade the drive with a crown and spread new gravel where it is thin.

FAQ

Snow Removal Questions, Answered

Common questions about snow removal around Pleasant View and the towns between Nashville and Clarksville. If yours is not here, call or text and ask.

Call (931) 265-1151

How much does snow removal cost for a parking lot?
The price depends on the size of the lot or the length of the drive. The depth of the snow matters too, and so does room to pile it. We look at the job ahead of time and put the quote in writing. Call or text (931) 265-1151 to set that up.
Do you clear private driveways too?
Yes. Private drives are part of our snow removal work, along with parking lots. Tell us how long the drive is when you call or text. Then we look at it and give you a written quote.
Where does the snow go when you clear a lot?
We push it to the edges of the lot and pile it in the spots you pick. Keep piles back from the entrance, where a tall pile can block a driver's view of the road.
When should I call about snow removal?
Call or text in the fall, before snow shows up in the forecast. We look at the lot or the drive and put the quote in writing ahead of time. Then you know the price and where the piles go before the first snow.
How do I get my lot ready for snow removal?
Mark curbs and wheel stops with tall stakes in the fall, since snow hides them. Point out the drains, so no pile ends up on top of one. Move cars off the lot when you can, so every space gets cleared.
Which towns do you cover for snow removal?
Pleasant View sits at the center of our service area. It reaches Clarksville, Springfield, Dickson and the north and west side of Nashville. See the towns we serve, or call or text to ask about your lot.
